The Peach Arch border crossing is one of the busiest ports of entry into Canada from the US and is exclusively for non-commercial vehicles and pedestrians. Those traveling from Seattle to Vancouver are likely to be using this crossing.

Yes, between the border stations is the Peace Arch Park. This park allows visitors to cross the border on foot as long as they stay within the confines of the park. Pedestrians will still be required to go through immigration checks.
Trucks and commercial vehicles are not allowed to travel through the Peace Arch Border crossing.
The Peace Arch Border Crossing is toll-free. Some residents can purchase a NEXUS card which costs $50 for five years. NEXUS Cardholders can skip the queues and cross quickly and easily.
The Peace Arch Border Crossing is open 24 hours a day every day of the week. NEXUS cardholders can skip the queues on the crossing between 7 am to midnight to travel into Canada. The Peace Arch Border Crossing is not open to commercial vehicles; these are required to use the nearby Pacific Highway Crossing. The crossing closes for the Annual Hands across the Border, usually the 2nd Sunday in June from morning to evening so it is recommended to pass through early or late on this day or use one of the other Blaine crossing points.
There is the Peace Arch Duty-Free Shop located on the Canadian side of the crossing. It is open between 7 am and 10 pm Monday to Thursday, and 7 am to 11 pm Friday to Sunday. Various allowances are in place for duty-free goods. Currently, visitors can bring $200 worth of goods from duty-free across the border during a 24-hour trip. For 48-hour trips, this increases to $800. These allowances are excluding all alcohol and tobacco.
The ID requirements for the Peace Arch Border Crossing is dependent on which way you are traveling. When entering Canada, all visitors must carry both a proof of citizenship and a proof of identity. This could be a valid passport, NEXUS card, driver’s licenses, birth certificate or Alien Registration Receipt Card for non-US citizens. Entering the US, travelers will need a valid passport, NEXUS card, Enhanced Driving Licence (EDL) or other travel compliant document.
