Dallas DFW Airport is one of the very busiest airports in the world and the airport itself is enormous and is famously bigger than the entire island of Manhattan. There are very few airports in the world that service more destinations than DFW.
DFW Airport operates as the major hub for American Airlines and the airline has its world HQ there. American Airlines alone serves more than 250 destinations with hundreds of flights out of DFW Airport every day. American Airlines at DFW serves more than ten times the number of destinations as the next busiest airline there.
In 2019 about 25 different airlines flew out of DFW consistently but some airlines have suspended service, mostly or in part, because of the Coronavirus pandemic. Airlines that have a suspended service here include Air France and Qantas (accurate as of Jan 2022).
