There is no toll to cross at Naco. When there is only a land crossing (not a bridge), it is usually free to pass over the border. You will need to get an FMM (multiple immigration form). This allows you to travel in Mexico. If you plan to stay close to the border, and for fewer than seven days, there is no fee. If you intended to stay longer or travel further, there would be a commensurate fee of up to $500.
The border crossing is open all day every day. During the evening, it takes only a few minutes to get to the front of the line. During the day wait, times are generally around 15 minutes.

For anyone who is over the age of sixteen, an approved form of ID must be shown to cross the border in either direction. These include passports, passport cards, or government-approved documents such as an Enhanced Driver’s License or a trusted traveler card such as NEXUS. If you are traveling with a child under the age of sixteen who does not have a passport they will need to have proof of their citizenship. The easiest method is to show an original birth certificate.
